A cyst could be the start of a disease known as PCD or polycystic ovarian disease. A cyst can also be the start of cancer, or it could just be a cyst that has found itself growth.
The only way to truly find out is to go to a doctor and have them examine the problem!

I got my period 8 days late because I had a health issue that the doctors diagnosed me with.
