If I or any of my friends say ... with ol girl, it's guy communication for I'm ... with my girl, and by actually saying "ol girl" we are both in the loop of who were are talking about. Guys (generally speaking of course) will only use the term "ol girl" when we are referring to are "main squeeze" if you will, our girl friend, or a significant guy. So in conclusion If a guy refers you his has friend that he's hanging out with "ol girl" then take it as a compliment, because he has talked about you to his guy friends and they understand that your his girl.
Guy talk most amazingly lazy form of communication, we all think alike (generally speaking) and the shorter the conversations we can the better. I have literally had a conversation without any words at all. Girls really only have to turn there brain off and this would be a perfect world-just kidding, but seriously...
