If I or any of my friends say ... with ol girl, it's guy communication for I'm ... with my girl, and by actually saying "ol girl" we are both in the loop of who were are talking about. Guys (generally speaking of course) will only use the term "ol girl" when we are referring to are "main squeeze" if you will, our girl friend, or a significant guy.
