You try to mention it, or you get mad at them. Usually, this does not happen with true friends. I mean. it could happen, but a good idea will be to ask one of your other friends to say something like, " What are you getting so and so for her birthday?" then, your friend can make a non embarassing comeback. But dont get too mad at them, because everybody makes mistakes. Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY! (Phew, that was a close one!)
