Nothing. Sounds like your cycle isn't regular. When on the pill I often skipped the placebo pills since they are just place holders to help you start the new cycle on the right day. Take your new cycle of pills like you are suppose to as well.

If you take more than one placebo pills will your period start sooner?

Placebo pills do nothing to your body. Nothing at all.

Do you skip the placebo pills if you start your period early?

You can, but it's not necessary.

Are you not supposed to get a period while on the pill?

You should still get a period each month while on birth control. You will usually start your period during the week that you take your placebo pills, because they have no hormones in them. If you skip the placebo pills and start your active pills instead, this will delay your period.

What happens to your menstrual cycle if you start birth control pills two Sundays after period ended?

you will get your period when you start taking your "period" placebo pills in your pack

Can you get your period before you start taking the placebo pills?

Sure. It just means that your aren't completely regular in your cycle. A day or so isn't anything to worry about.

If taking birth control when should you start your menstrual cycle?

What should you do if you accidentally start using your new pill pack a day or two before the green placebo pills were used up?

It doesn't matter. Just continue taking the pills as normal. You can prevent your period by missing out the placebo pills altogether and going straight on to the next pack so don't worry about it.

When on birth control pills do you still take the green placebo pill if you dont start your period?

You're supposed to start your period after you start taking the placebo pills. To keep on a routine, you should take the placebo pills on their designated days (the last 7 days of the 28 day cycle).

Do you have to take the full week of placebo pills or can you start the hormone pills part way through to stop your period?

You could start the hormones pills part way through the placebo pills to change the next month's cycle (say you would have your period on a Wednesday next month, instead of a Friday) but it would not affect the cycle you are currently on. When your uterine lining starts to shed, it sheds. For example, Yaz only has 4 placebo pills instead of 7, like some birth control brands. For many women on Yaz, they won't start their period until the last day of placebo pills. They will start their period on the last placebo and continue to have it through the first few days of the hormone pills.

Will you get your period if you start a new pack of birth control pills instead of taking the 4th week placebo pills?

Probably not, but you may have unscheduled bleeding or spotting.

Hi, Your question is: Should my period start the first day after I am through the hormone pills in a birth control pack? Not necessarily no. Your period will arrive anytime during the 7 days when your on the placebo pills or not taking any pills.

Do placebo pills prolong your period?

Placebo pills have no effect on your period at all. A placebo itself is nothing more then a sugar pill, it contains absolutely NO medication of any kind. In a birth control pack the placebo pills are used strictly to keep you in the routine of taking the pill everyday.AnswerNo. Placebo pills have no effect on your cycle at all - they are simply a reminder to you to keep taking a pill at the same time every day. The bleeding you have while on BCP is actually not a period. It is withdrawal bleeding in response to your hormone levels dropping while you are not taking active BCP.You can take the inactive pills or skip them completely, as long as you remember to start using your active pills again at the end of the week. The way women use BCP to skip a period that is coming at an inconvenient time is to toss out the inactive pills and start using the new packet of active pills without skipping a day. This with your doctors or health care provider's OK.
