it is a good idea to get your belly button pierced when you are roughly 13 because your at that age where you are old enough to make your own decision and you are fairly mature. all of my 7 daughters have had their belly button pierced at 13, it was their decision and my 12 year old daughter is getting hers done next week because she is 13 in 4 days and she would like hers doing too. i don't regret letting them get it done because it doesn't put you through much pain like your ears and they all love it and are very mature about it. i got mine done at 16 and i think my mum should of let me get in done younger because the longer you wait the more frightened you get and you tense up your body making it hurt more.
