The Webley & Scott MK3 Pellet Rifle was produced from 1947 to 1975 in Birmingham, England. It was available in .177 and .22. It is a tap loader with under lever cocking and weighs approximately 6.8 lbs. Many British airgunners consider the MK3 as one of the finest air rifles ever produced. On close inspection it is obvious that great pride went into the build quality of these rifles. All machined parts from billet steel, hand fitted, walnut stock with hand checkering.
Value on this rifle is contingent on condition.
95% NRA condition is $250 for later models and $375 for earlier models. 90% drops to $200, 80% to $150, 60% to $125, etc. Super Target Model 2 with Parker Hale micrometer aperture sight $350 in 95% condition. Produced 1963 to 1975.
It is rare to find these in 90 to 95% condition. Market value based on Air Gun Bluebook values could jump to double these numbers for a very well cared for MK3 and the right buyer/collector. More information and sources for Webley & Scott Vintage Airguns can be researched from U.S. collectors and avid airgunners: John Ulrich, Mike Driskill, Jim Edmonson, Jon Bart, Paul Watts, to name a few. The Webley & Scott MK3 is a piece of airgun history and an excellent rifle for collecting and shooting.
