im guessing that you mean the notifications sent to your email in which case you go to account settings, notifications and it should say something like 'facebook will send you notifications when...' and un-tick all the boxes underneath. remember there is two pages of boxes

If you have the facebook app, you can disable notifications through its settings. If you're talking about the texts/emails that can be altered directly on your facebook accounts from the settings feature.
