Think Im 6 weeks pregnant but ultrasound says 4 weeks Can this be?

I was told the same thing. Based on my lmp I am 6 weeks but I had an ultrasound done 2 days ago that said I was 4 weeks. I wonder if I am 4 weeks along because that is the time of conception since you dont get pregnant the day of your period. It is usually two weeks later when you ovulate. Let me know if you have heard anything

Guy B's. If the ultrasound said 10 weeks pregnant that means that the embryo is only 8 weeks old. A pregnancy is counted from the first day of your last period. Theoretically, you are considered pregnant roughly two weeks before you even concieve. Hope this helps.

I figured if the ultrasound says 7 weeks, that is from around sep. 7th, the 1st day of your last period. meaning between sep. 18th thru sep. 24th could have got you pregnant. Likely the 21st. Pregnancy dates are determined by the first day of your last period. This adds at least 2 weeks to the actual fetal age. Another determining factor is when you ovulated/actually got pregnant. Some women ovulate later in their cycle resulting in a lower actual fetal age.

If your dates are off by only a few days it may be a bit early to see anything more than a sac. I hope your doctor has ordered another ultrasound in a few days to check if the embryo is growing.
