It honestly depends on how developed she is, get her a little cheap bra with no underwiring or padding and take her to the nearest lingerie shop who will fit her and give you good advice on what she should wear. At the age of 10 she is probably starting to notice her body so a padded one may give her more confidence, to be honest it is totally up to you as neither have an effect on her health as long as they do NOT have an underwire.

∙ 11y agoWell, I am 10 and i wear padded Bras. I am a size 34b. I wear them because it helps my nipples not to show through, and it doesnt hurt when i get hit or something in my breast area. Hope this helps!
