I am 16 years old and currently trying to find out the answer to the same question. =/ Articles I have read would indicate that it's more to do with a "It's better to be safe than sorry"- kind of attitude, and not enough research has been conducted to prove that it is safe for people below the age of 18. On the other hand, most articles I have read, have had people claim that there has been no adverse side effects of taking creatine below the stated age- however taking ABOVE the reckomended daily allowance can cause some harm to the body (I'm probably wrong, but I remember it being 5g or something). Creatine is found naturally in the body which would make me think that as long as it is taken in a controlled manner, it can be taken by people below the age of 18- however I don't have any evidence to back this up obviously! You really should check with your doctor. I asked a fitness expert about this and this is what he told me: Creatine is not proven to be harmful, but it's not recommended either. I wouldn't advise it at your age, but it's your choice.

Yes. It's generally a bit harder for most guys (assuming you're not a girl) to build up all that much muscle before they're around 18 or so, but creatine should help at least somewhat. Just remember that it's not a magic bullet and you won't see results overnight. You still have to put in your time at the gym and eat right if you want to get big.
Creatine is made for adults not children. It is best to talk to the child's doctor prior to starting them on anything like that.
they can but it has to be very closely supervised by an parent of a personal trainer make sure he is drinking plenty of water and doing his cycle of 8 weeks on and 8 weeks off
