You can shower all that you want, but bathing in a bath is not an option at all. To do this is to open yourself to the real possibility that you will be adversely affecting the timely and proper healing of your piece by submerging it in water and moistening the structural integrity of your scabbing as well as that you are introducing a wound into water that is contaminated with your own personal filth.

I don't know about the piercing part, but don't ever bathe your Webkinz plush. It isn't good for the fur, and if it doesn't dry quick enough, it can get moldy and mildewy, and then it might have to be thrown away.
