Yep. Industrials can get hit pretty easily and they'll swell when that happens so its normal. If it swells too much and the bar is too short, go back to your piercer and have them either put in t a longer one or just wear two separate rings/bars.

Well that would be a hypertrophic reaction, this is a reaction to the so called "cleaning product" you are using. Stop using it and wash the piercing with lathered and diluted antibacterial liquid soap and plenty of water once a day, ensure you flash the piercing with lots of warm water after cleaning with the soap. Use nothing else on the piercing, the bumps will ease off in a few days and the piercing should return to an almost normal state. Throw the "cleaning product" in the garbage.

That is the normal discharge that occurs from tongue piercing, just like ear piercing discharges after they have been pierced and are healing the tongue does the same sort of thing. That will disappear is a couple of days, just be sure you are rinsing and keeping cold stuff on the piercing as often as possible.
