If you have any of these other characteristics, I would suggest going to a doctor about the possibility of Polycyctic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS):
* thicker hair on your face, chest, back or lower belly ("happy trail")
* prediabetes or type 2 Diabetes * weight gain around the middle of your body Treatment for PCOS is generally Birth Control pills (to regulate periods), Aldactone (to reduce hair growth), and a pill to regulate insulin levels.

Don't worry, you will get your period when your body is ready.
