How far along are you?
I would venture to guess that if you already knew you were pregnant (most pregnancy tests do not pick up beta-HCG until the level is about 25), then yes, you have had a miscarriage.
That said, noone can diagnose your condition over the internet, and your OB/Gyn should monitor your HCG levels.
In some instances, you can have a level of 13, and only be 3-5 days pregnant. In that case, your HCG level should double in the next 48 hours. If it continues to decline, then that is diagnostic of miscarriage. You should still watch it to be sure it goes all the way down to zero - if it does not, you may have a condition called a hydatidaform mole, or choriocarcinoma, which requires surgery to correct.
It means you are not pregnant or miscarried. HCG levels under 5 not pregnant. 5 and over pregnant. My HCG level was a 10 and went down to a 3 :(
how far along is a pregnancy when your hcg count is 2097
It is possible yes.
No your hcg levels should have gone back down
it depends how high were your hcg levels, i was about 5 weeks when i miscarried nd my hcg were at 880 now after 1 week my hcg gone down to 100 so it all depends..to get a positive your hcg levels should be higher then 4
Yes, Your HCG level should never drop ---it should double and get higher - if it drops - that's a sign something is wrong and most lyikey end up in a misscarraige ----the reason i know this---its cause it has happen to me and that's what my doc told me.
I would find another doctor. If you were definitely pregnant and called the doctor to report heavy bleeding, he should have sent you for beta HcG tests. That will determine if the placenta is still producing the pregnancy hormone, if it is, then you're still pregnant, if the amount is not rising, then you have miscarried.
Just happened to me too. My dr called it a threatened miscarriage and is still checking my hcg levels.

No Preg test are only looking for a hormone called HCG which is only present if you are preg or recently miscarried.
the numbers are supposed to double every 48-72 hours. Sounds like you either have HCG in your system from the HCG shot, or from a chemical pregnancy. Your numbers are not doubling like they should be, sorry. If your hcg levels increase it simply means that you are pregnant.
Unfortunately, I have experienced 11 miscarriages. Each time my pregnancy hormone, HCG, began to decline which was a sign that a miscarriage was going to happen. Once the levels reached below 5, my period would start and I would pass the embryo. I've been as far as 10 weeks and had this happen. It took about 5-6 weeks for my period to start once my levels starting dropping from the 40,000 range. When your HCG levels drop below 5, then expect a period. If you don't get one, please consult with you doctor. In the 11 times that I miscarried, my period started like clock work after my HCG lowered below 5.
