How long it takes a smiley piercing, or any piercing to heal up will depend greatly on the care given. Making sure to keep the piercing clean can help it to heal as quickly as possible.
6 to 8 weeks for a light heal. Keep in mind it's a new piercing and will be a new piercing until it is a year old so if you catch a cold the piercing can swell back up again.
Your professional body piercer should have told you that you can expect to wait 8 to 10 weeks for a light heal and over a year for the piercing to season up and be considered a healed piercing.
It will take as long as it needs, healing time varies from person to person. If you are having issues with the piercing, this will slow the healing time down greatly because the body needs to fix what is screwed up before it can focus on closing the piercing up.
A tragus piercing is done through the small flap of cartilage in the front of the ear canal.its the little part that if you put in ear buds it pushes up or if you like covering your ears that little part you push down you can look at pictures of it on google
I've heard that the PA is the one piercing that will never fully heal. I've removed my jewelry before. The wound tightened up a bit, but did not look at all as if it would heal.
It depends really on what type of piercing you get... See I got my nose done and that took 4 weeks to heal up :P
Well the piercing needs to heal, this can take up to a year for a piercing to become seasoned (this is when you can remove the jewellery for a few hours and not have an issue putting it back in). Average heal time can vary from piercing to piercing from 4~6 weeks for some and other a lot longer. Light heals are not considered "healed" and can be damaged by removing the jewellery too soon.
Hold on to the back of the piercing with one hand and then twist the front bit left. (Lefty loosey, righty tighty.) I had problems undoing my tragus piercing stud because it was screwed on quite tight so I eventually went back in to the place I got it pierced and just asked them to loosen it a bit for me.
It really depends on the size of the piercing and how new it is, the larger and older the piercing happens to be the longer it will take to shrink down then slowly close and heal up. You could be looking at anywhere from 3 months to a couple of years.
2 months but it takes 6 months up to a year to completely heal
If the piercing is 24 hours old it will close quite quickly (generally a few days to knit up), the longer the piercing has been kept with the jewellery in it the longer it will take to heal up. So if you don't like the piercing, get the jewellery out fairly quick and you should be good in a few days.
