Plug it into itunes, and change the password.... I think.... :)
You hold the sleep/wake button, then hold the home button, then plug in your ipod and the itunes plug will show up like when it has first started.

If you get locked out of your ipod plug it in to your computer open itunes and click on whatever your ipod is called tab. There should be a button called restore click it and it will get rid of the passcode.
If you don't know your password, you must go through iTunes. Otherwise, just enter your password.

You cannot reset the password unless you either know the password, or you restore it using your iTunes account.
Just plug it to the computer and it will reset it
you download itunes and plug it in again then it should set up your ipod. make an acount in itunes plug in the ipod touch click download takes 5 to 10 mins and it will be done then u ave to get wifi u will have to know someone's password to do that then Bye
You cant reset it you can only restore it through itunes. Open itunes, plug in ipod, go to the ipod in the side bar, click the restore button. this will delete everything off the ipod. Its the only way.
if your ipod gets locked, and you dont know the password, you must follow these steps. 1. plug in your ipod into your computer 2. open iTunes 3. hold down the 'sleep' and 'home' button until it turns off 4. once it turns off, let go of the top 'sleep' button, but still hold down the 'home' buton for another 5-8 seconds. your ipod is now in recovery mode. itunes will restore it, and the password will not be there!
