if your iPod gets locked, and you dont know the password, you must follow these steps.
1. plug in your ipod into your computer
2. open iTunes
3. hold down the 'sleep' and 'home' button until it turns off
4. once it turns off, let go of the top 'sleep' button, but still hold down the 'home' buton for another 5-8 seconds.
your ipod is now in recovery mode.
itunes will restore it, and the password will not be there!
