Probably not; the freezing gel can actually numb the area slightly, since cold on the skin tends to numb.

How involved are the steps for doing a cartilage piercing?

The process of piercing cartilage is generally quick and uncomplicated, unlike the healing process of this type of piercing. First, the instruments and area around where the piercing will be need to be cleaned thoroughly. Next, a trained professional will pierce your ear with a hollow needle, using marks to ensure the piercing isn't crooked. Once the needle is through both layers of skin and the cartilage, the jewelry should be inserted into the hollow needle and pulled through the fresh piercing with the needle.

Can a hospital injection needle be used for body piercing?

If you want a lerger gauge for whatever you are doing. I DO NOT recommend using an injection needle for the sole fact that it will cause MORE pain and bleeding, as well as potentially destroy a nerve or vein depending on what you are piercing and the size of the injection needle.HELLO!Piercing needle?PIERCING needle.Assuming you are piercing, and not injecting,NO!What kind of person asks that?PIERCING NEEDLE.That answers your question.

Do you have to use a hollow tip to pierce your belly button?

Well all tri-beveled piercing needles are hollow. If you are asking more astutely if you can use a sewing needle...no. You wouldn't be able to slide a 14g piece of jewelry after having pierced it with a more than likely 22 or 16g sewing needle, and then you would have to stretch the fresh piercing (which you don't do). Even if you were to find a needle of the same size as the jewelry, it can be quite tricky to transfer the needle out and the jewelry in when doing this. The hollow piercing needles work quite well for this, in that you can place the end of the jewelry in the divot, thereby making it go through quite easily.

How do you they pierced your ears?

Well they can use a piercing gun (not clean, not safe and generally used by someone who doesn't know what they are really doing) or by a professional body piercer in a licensed facility using a sterilized single use body piercing needle and sterilized equipment and jewellery.

What Pericing hurts the most?

A piercing that is done by someone who doesn't know what they are doing. Simply put there are piercings that are more uncomfortable when they are being done (some ear cartilage piercings as an example). A couple of things come to play when you are getting a professional piercing, skill set of the piercer and the the tools of the trade (the needle). The wrong type of needle can hang and bind on tissue and cause all sorts of discomfort during the piercing. Old school piercers know what specific brand of needles we like to use for there edge and easy of piercing. So do your research and when you want a piercing find a really experienced professional piercer, they will be the ones who you want to have do your piercing. Skill, Knowledge and Experience results in a great next to painless piercing.

Can you use a sewing needle as a piercing needle?

you can but you can't be sure if the needle is clean. also the correct needles to use, are hollow, a sewing needle will tear the skin and also be very hard to put through your year. you need to use a sterilized hollow needle. you can try to clean the needle but just take about 5$ and order a hollow needle online. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- although it may not be recomended, they work just as well if you're doing your own. i use them for the peircings i do myself, and i haven't had any infections. just be sure the needle is clean before you use it.

Can you wet your navel piercing?

NEVER take out your piercing if it is infected. Doing so can cause an abscess. The piercing will close and trap the infection inside

Can you go blind from a tragus piercing?

Only if the person doing the piercing is a complete idiot, but generally there is no danger to eyesight from a tragus piercing. Please be sure to see a professional body piercer for this piercing and not some joker with a piercing gun.

Can you freeze you nose before you get it pierced?

Generally all Professional Body Piercers in North American (Canada & U.S.) will not freeze anything before piercing it. As a matter of fact Professional Body Piercers can use injection freezing at all, we are not health care providers and are not allowed to use injection anestetic. Topical freezing caused the tissue to swell, because it has to be absorbed into the tissue from the outside in, in doing this it causes the tissue to distort and actually makes the piercing more difficult. Bottom line is a nostril piercing is quick and almost painless, small poke, very fast, your eye might water and then its done.

Can an 18 year old sign for a piercing of a minior?
