Well all tri-beveled piercing needles are hollow. If you are asking more astutely if you can use a sewing needle...no. You wouldn't be able to slide a 14g piece of jewelry after having pierced it with a more than likely 22 or 16g sewing needle, and then you would have to stretch the fresh piercing (which you don't do). Even if you were to find a needle of the same size as the jewelry, it can be quite tricky to transfer the needle out and the jewelry in when doing this. The hollow piercing needles work quite well for this, in that you can place the end of the jewelry in the divot, thereby making it go through quite easily.
With a Q-Tip.
well when your belly button is very deep and you dont clean it often things can build up and get infected, what would help is fingering your belly button with a q-tip or your finger and cleaning it, if there is an infection you should see your doctor.
Use a hollow point 14g needle. If you need to buy one, please go here www.myspace.com/cheapest_shop_round
Hollow Tip is not dead. He is alive residing in North Highlands, CA.
It may be infected or have moisture in it. Make sure after you get out of the shower to dry it good. Also, if it keeps doing this, get a Q-tip and out some peroxide on it. Wipe the inside of your belly button out and also along the edges of the outside.
Instead of a pointed tip, the tip of the bullet is a somewhat cone shaped hollow.
I usually give them a puppy, my grandma's belly button lint, a piece of pumpkin casserole, and a shiny penny
Every shop is different, but I have seen them range around 50 to 70 dollars, plus a tip for your piercer

This is because the womb (and baby inside the womb) is putting pressure on the mothers abdomen. This pressure causes organs and the belly button as well to push forward causing the belly button to temporarily be an "outtie". Think of it like blowing up a balloon. When the balloon is completely full of air, the tip of it has a little "bump" on it because of the air pressure inside the balloon pushing it out.
