You shouldn't be putting neosporin on it anyway. Put a pinch of natural sea salt into a shot glass of warm water and use that to soak/clean the piercing. The bump is most likely hypertrophic scarring. After cleaning the piercing, dab a little bit of tea tree oil on the bump and leave it on. Do it once a day until the bump goes away. Tea tree oil is really drying so if its too harsh, just use it once every other day. Also, try to not hit the area, that could cause the HT scarring. If this doesn't help after a month or so, go check in with your piercer. good luck :)

Got my cartilage pierced 4 months ago. I had a keloid, so I switched from the surgical steel that they pierced it with, to gold. It's a hoop. Red and swollen. Keloid is gone and there is no puss. Is it still healing and just irritated? Or could the hoop be too tight?
After getting my Tragus pierced I waited until 2 months to change mine as it was still hurting , but when they change the bar in the Tragus it can be quite painful so just putting it out there and don't change jewelry in the Tragus when it's infected it really hurts
mine took about 2-3 months but it depends on the size of your nipple if they pierced the nipple or the areola and how well you take care of it
you can be any age to have your ears pierced, a baby can have there ears pierced at 4 months old, but if you younger than 16 your parents do need to be with you... :)
