Pregnancy often causes imbalances in blood chemistry, and can also cause circulation problems in the legs. Either can cause muscle cramps. You should speak with your obstetrician or midwife about diet and possible supplements. Do not take them on your own. You can improve the circulation by walking at least a mile a day. We realize you probably don't feel like it, but it's better than a blood clot.
