Marijuana needs anywhere from 6 to 18 hours a day depending on the quality of marijuana you desire. because their are only 12 hours of sun each day the plant would have to be moved indoor with LED or UV lights to get the remaining 6 hours, but 12 hours is plenty of light for the average marijuana plant.

Marijuana plants generally require around 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day for healthy growth and optimum flowering. However, some strains may have different light requirements, so it's important to consider the specific needs of the variety you are growing. Additionally, providing too much direct sunlight can result in heat stress and damage to the plant, so monitoring and adjusting light exposure is key.
