There were a few that do not have a standard trigger, but use a THUMB trigger. Do a web IMAGE search for Winchester thumb trigger rifle, and you will find it.
If you are referring to a "SET Trigger" on a rifle. The Set Trigger releases all the normal mechanisms in the action but does not release the hammer on the rifle, but it sets up the firing trigger to act like a "Hair Trigger" just barley touch the firing trigger and the rifle goes off. It's used in hunting. It is common on black powder "Hawkins Rifles."
rifle basix makes the trigger of your dreams..
$3oo-350+ depending on condition
On some of the older rifles, they had a set trigger. You would pull it first to set the other trigger. The second trigger would be a hair trigger. It would have a very light pull. The first trigger was supposed to keep from accidentally firing the rifle as you were aquiring the target.
Do you mean "what is an automatic Rifle". Any rifle that keeps firing as long as you hold the trigger down is an automatic rifle. It will only stop when you let go of the trigger or run out of bullets
Rear trigger is "set" trigger, by pulling it 1st, it makes the main trigger a "hair" or lighter trigger
Type your answer here... how do I adjust the trigger on Remington 799
Put the ammuniton into the magazine and put the magazine into the rifle, cock it and pull the trigger..
If you have a newer Winchester with a rebounding hammer, a great way to improve your gun is to replace the entire trigger group from an older rifle's trigger group with the traditional half-cock safety. The older trigger groups will fit between any model 94 rifle. I have done it numerous times, the only slight modification you may have to make is when you take a trigger group from an older rifle where it has the guide rail, you can carefully grind off the guide rail from the trigger group and then it will fit fine. The grinded off guide rail will not show once the new trigger group is installed. As for just trying to adjust your trigger, this is very tough to do without screwing the entire thing up. The older trigger group from older rifles is a much better system and has a much better pull.
Best to ask a gunsmith for assistance.
put the bullet in and pull the trigger
