About 1058$ or so, I priced the other day (I have an 1873 cattelman and wanted the rifle to match). The person who answered this is either A) An anti-gun nut pretending to own firearms, which is what I suspect is most likely the case or B) She just has no common sense. These are very sought after collectibles, and depending on the exact version, serial number, if it is an especially accurate gun or whatever, they start in around $2,800, and go up to $300,000 in excellent condition for a perfect model that is marked 1 in 1,000, for example. There were only about 8 of those made. This person needs to answer questions in a field that she is familiar with. If she is purchasing it for that price, then it is probably that she either a) conned someone real good, b) the person had no idea what they had on their hands or c) she just got extremely lucky. Maybe she is trying to buy your gun!
