I tend to go a max of 12 or 13 but I've heard of people going up to 30 and even 60 but I would not try that it could mess up the spring. By the way the more pumps the higher it shoots 12 pumps at about 55 yards i think

Whoever answered the above question is giving you poor information. DO NOT over pump the model 760 it will eventually blow the seal. First of all there is NO spring it has an air chamber and valve. I've attacked a link to the Owners Manual (See Below). Crosman Owners manual says DO NOT pump the rifle more than 10 time and not less than 3 times. There are more than 5 variations of the model 760 but all of them pump the same way. The Model 760 is rated at 600 FPS (Feet Per Second) when shooting a BB, it will be slightly slower with a pellet depending on the weight of the pellet. Any over pumping will shorten the life of the valve and destroy the rifle.
PSI: It depends on how many times you pump the forearm. But Crosman says to never pump it more than 10 times. The 760 is rated at 625 FPS with a BB and 600 FPS with a pellet.
See the link below for the owners manual.
There are nine different versions of the 760 pumpmaster, see the link (below) and find your version. Check the parts manual for a diagram.
Yes it has to be pumped at least 3 time and not more than 10 times per the Owners Manual. See the link below for the Owners Manual
No the Pumpmaster has more power and can shoot BBs or Pellets
Definetly the pump master. It is a multi pump gun so the fps depends on the number of pumps.
See the link below.
I suggest you direct this question directly to Crosman Customer service. See the link below.
See the Crosman link below for the diagram.
No it's not designed that way. Even a few pumps will produce enough power to do damage.
There are 12 versions of the Crosman 760. Which one do you want.... See the link below
600 FPS - Pellet 625 FPS - BB
