A 15 year old boy should be average about 7800 calories a day when he is on a strict diet. The normal amount of calories a day is around 12300. Breakfasts are an important meal, they should have around 3500 calories to keep the boy awake in each of his school subjects. At lunch time, he should be consuming about 2800 calories because he should be consuming snacks around this time as well. Dinner is the most important calorie consuming time for a teenage boy who weighs around 145 pouns because this is where most of the protein is absolved. The calories that a dinner contains should vary from 4500 - 7000 depending on the activites of the boy. Nothing would be the minimum, walking up stairs would be the maximum. I hope that this will help young teens develop a healthy diet to follow and they will live until at least 98 = ) Sincerely, Julian O. Julian, how much do you weigh? Or are you joking? Is that what they eat in America? Or when they're training for the Olympics? Maybe you've got your place value wrong. An average 15 year old boy needs 2400 to 2800 calories a day depending on height, weight and activity. Breakfast is the most important calorie consuming time for everyone because we haven't eaten for about 10 hours and the digestive enzymes are going crazy. The minimum activity is walking around normally, the maximum is of course as much activity as you can do before you drop due to exhaustion, although this is not recommendable. In order to be fit you must do 30 minutes of activity a day (meaning your heart must beat faster than normal). Not that I'm passionate about calories, I just don't like assumptions written as they're facts.
