Well, honey, there's only one birthday celebrated each day for each person. Unless you're Queen Elizabeth II, then you get two birthdays because, you know, why not? So, technically speaking, there's an infinite number of birthdays happening every day around the world, but each person only celebrates one.

Wikipedia gives the world population as 6,783,557,000 on the 31st of May 2009. divide that by the number of days in a year and you get: 18,585,087 people having birthdays per day. Another answer is that there is only 1 birthday per day no matter what the population is..
