Here's the skinny. White discharge is normal during the first few days post piercing this is a normal discharge that occurs just like any other external piercing, this will ease off in a couple of days. The burning could be from what you are eating and you may be rinsing too much with the mouth wash, even just rinsing with cool water is better that over rinsing with mouth wash which can screw up your oral bacteria balance and cause all sorts on nasty stuff to happen. So get on the cool stuff freezies, slushies etc. avoid dairy and dairy products for a few days and all should settle out. Keep away from spicy foods until your tongue has healed up a bit more.
Yes it will heal.
wait at least six weeks so as to give your tongue a chance to completely heal
I have my Tongue pierced too. I noticed the same cut, Was it self done? I have heard your tongue is the fastest healing part of your body so if you take out the jewelry it should heal right up.
because it is trying to heal itself. it knows it should not have a hold in it and the natural process is to try to heal
It depends on the person. Usually you don't get your tongue pierced if your vein is in the way because it causes excessive bleeding.
You can't glue your ripped ear, you would probably have to see a doctor and let the wound heal. Then go to a piercing shop and get it pierced again
Yes. Often times people have a bit of a lisp right after they get their tongue pierced. The more you talk, the faster you'll get used to it and it'll heal so don't let that stop you. It sounds something like a person with teeth retainer on!
I was told by my piercer that aslong as you keep it clean and free of debris it would heal just fine
I dont think they heal at all, because the tongue is a muscle.
I changed mine out in roughly 8-10 days. I'd suggest around 10 days though if you heal slow.
Definitely not. Your immune system is already compromised and a piercing will make it worse. Your piercing will take forever to heal if it even does. You'll have a higher risk of getting an infection. Just stay away from piercings until you are 100% better!
It's probably because you just got your tongue pierced a few days ago. It is still healing. It'll take a week for the initial swelling and pain to subside, and a little longer for the wound to fully heal. Try not to play with it and swish it around too much.
