Yes but clean in out very well after your done with mouthwash
rinse your mouth out with water and just keep your eye on it, should be fine. You can always call the professional who pierced your tongue if anything should seem odd. chances are, your tongue would be swollen now so, ice and water should take care of you! :)
Yes. but you cant drink, smoke. or eat anything that is hard.
i wouldn't clean a tongue piercing with peroxide. when you first get your tongue pierced you're suppose to clean it with antiseptic mouth wash and you are suppose to drink liquids for a whole week when you first get it pierced.
no
I got my tongue pierced over a week ago and my friend got her's a year before me. She drank on the third night after her piercing, and the swelling on her tongue went down. I also did the same, and swelling also went down. Just be careful, cause when you drink beer that early after piercing it, the tongue will tingle from the carbonation. My tongue ring is almost completely healed now.
You can drink anything as long as it doesn't have yeast in it like beers and dark alcohols. If you do you can get a yeast infection in your mouth. I just got mine done and I'm playing it safe because who wants a yeast infection in your mouth. So check the ingredients and be careful.
I was told by my piercer that aslong as you keep it clean and free of debris it would heal just fine
Wait a few days... The last thing you want to do is irritate an open wound in the first hours of it healing. But avoid drinking beer for the duration of the healing period. Consuming beer with an open tongue wound could lead to a oral yeast infection known as Thrush.
Mine did. It might be due to the healing process. When mine itches, I would wash my mouth with the mouthwash or take a drink. it usually worked.
When I got my tongue pierced a few years ago it was fairly swollen and semi-painful for about a week or so. After that it only would hurt when I accidentally would pull it during eating or something. Number one, eat before getting it pierced! Sounds stupid but you wont be able to eat to your hearts content for a little while due to the swelling and pain. Carry around a water bottle with alcohol free mouthwash and water, half and half. Always rinse your mouth out after eating. I would suck on ice and drink ice water and popsicles and stuff. All these things will keep the swelling and pain down significantly. It really shouldnt hurt hurt after a week or so, but getting used to eating is the hardest part. After a few weeks or a month or so it should be pretty healed.
Sure. You'd die if you didn't drink anything!
