normal monophasic Birth Control pills are out of your system apprx 24 hour after you stop taking them. Not that you will necessarily get pregnant right away, but the possibility exists that soon.

I have been on birth control for 7yrs, and i stopped taking it the end of September. But when i stopped taking it i didn't finish the pack. I am trying to get pregnant. i was on that when i became pregnant with my first child, and she didn't have birth defects. birth control doesnt hurt the baby just as long as you stop taking it once you find out you are pregnant.
Taking birth control is the key here. As long as you have not missed taking any of the BCP you are 99.5% protected from pregnancy.

depends on the type of hormone, the length of time you have been taking them and if it's from pills, the shot, patch... No long, though. I had a friend get pregnant who was on the pill and had been taking antibiotics for 10 days. the antibiotics cancelled out the birth control and she got pregnant.
