Mr. Sun isn't the good buddy you used to think he was....After several years of deep tanning the ultra violet rays of the sun will cause your color to break down and fade...So use common sense, use a real good spf tanning cream over your tattoo work...... And remember, tanning beds use ultra violet rays and they are not weakened by traveling hundreds of thousands of miles thru space....So don't think it will not harm your tattoos, new or old.....Hope this helps...
