It takes as long as it takes once a piercing has healed it depends on haow long you leave the jewellery out, if you are done with the piercing it can take a few days to several weeks for the piercing to actually close once it's a seasoned piercing (seasoned being over a year old).
It depends on how fast your body heals, and how long you have had the piercing. The longer you have had the piercing, the longer it will take to close. This is true for all piercings.
Yes. After the piercing heals your speech will improve and will eventually return to normal.
I took mine out about a week in and replaced it with a clear bar, but they tell you you should wait a minimum of 2 wks before you remove the original bar. You can't keep the bar out or the hole will close. It's only a matter of minutes before it will close so I don't advise you to take it out and keep it out. Just replace it with a tongue retainer. You can google them. Also, it doesn't matter how long you've had the piercing, your tongue heals quickly and the hole will close. I know someone who had their tongue piercing for 10 yrs but when she took her tongue ring out it only took about half an hour before the hole started closing.
Healing times vary from person to person based on various factors like age, sex, health etc. My tongue piercing healed in about 1-2weeks
Well, its really hard to say because everyone's body will react differently, and it depends on how your body heals. A tongue piercing is considered an open wound right up until you let it close. After five years mine is still considered that. I have had mine for about five years now and I'm so used to it that when i take it out, i forget. I have gone a little over two weeks with it out and it didn't close or get smaller. I had a tongue ring for close to four years and it took a couple days at most. I don't think it actually matters how long it's been once it has been more than a year or two.
It doesn't take long before a new tongue pierce hole closes because when you open and close your mouth your hole in you tongue just gets used to having nothing in it so i would say about 24 hours before it closes.
Depends on your body, the size of the piercing, and how old the piercing heals. Everyone's different so theres no way for me to give you an accurate length of time for that. If you want it to close, you can try massaging it with vitamin E or jojoba oil to speed things up :)
Why do you have a fishing line in your tongue piercing in the first place
You can go to an oral surgeon and have the web clipped, or simply get a tongue web piercing.
you need to wait for it to heal 4-6 weeks i would chuckanother 2 weeks on there even though ur tongue heals quick its so painful re-piercing really bad. hope this helped
Depends on how long you've had it, what gauge it is, and how your body heals.
Healing will occur very quickly, generally with in a few hours the body will start to mend the piercing point. be sure to clean your mouth out with a good oral rinse and do not brush your tongue. The piercing will close in about 24 ~ 48 hours.
