If done professionally by and experienced body piercer with the correct techniques and materials, 6 to 8 weeks, following the written aftercare instructions.
mine took about 2-3 months but it depends on the size of your nipple if they pierced the nipple or the areola and how well you take care of it
How long has it been pierced
It depends on where you got it pierced.
Just got mine done (professionally) and she said 6 weeks to fully heal (and to not let anyone contact it orally for that long)
You need to wait about 6 to 8 weeks after getting them pierced before you change them.
Nipple piercings may interfere with your ability to breastfeed. But you should be able to breastfeed as long as you remove your jewelry.
According to Lori Selke, the heal time for nipple piercings vary for men and women. While most men will be healed within 3-4 months, it can take an additional 4 to 6 months for women.
I'd wait till your lobes are completely or nearly completely healed. Cartilage piercings take longer to heal and if your body is trying to heal your lobes AND cartilage at the same time, it'll take even longer for your cartilage to heal. So, 2-3 mths.
Six weeks at least. And once the six weeks are up, rotate the jewelry in the hole. If it sticks even a little, it's not healed yet.
You can change the jewelry after 2-3 months once the swelling goes down. It takes at least 6-9 months for them to heal completely though :)
It varies person to person. On average, it takes 3-6months for the piercings to heal completely. Everyone is different.
