Since only 3% of teen moms graduate from college by the time they are 30, there will be a group of women who does not reach their potential when it comes to education. The money spent on welfare for these parents could also go to better use. Atm it's 8 billion dollars/year spent on teen parents. Some also view the mother in a negative way which can affect her chances for work etc..
