You have to block your number from showing up on their caller ID. You can call the phone company and request this feature for every call you make. For specific calls in the US, you can use the dial code *67 before dialing the phone number. Using either of these, your call will show up as Unknown name with the number or Unknown name - unknown number. Chances are though, with the latter, they may be able to check who called by dialing *69 and having the phone company read off the last call-in number.


Provided that the called party has a caller ID service enabled. Even if the call is forwared using a call forwarding service it will show the number but unless if you press *67.

To not show when you are calling someone type in the keys *67 and then you dial the persons regular number
