Is it awkward because you had a bad break up or because your dating or because you want to start dating?

if you had a bad break up, make the effort to make things better and be friends again.

if you're dating, try to get closer to him and go out more often and just hang out the two of you.

If you want to start dating, think about how he feels or discreetly ask around and then ask him out to the movies or something. start simple and then progress.

ANSWERok look... this guy (my friend) found out that i liked him back..and he liked me but is really intimidated by me...we are really good friends though !! (this has happened multiple times with diff guy friends) i hate it because whenever a guy that likes me finds out that i like them..they automatically start acting weird..! I don't like it when this happens so i start acting normal and friendly..and everything goes back to normal..and we stay friends forever more and only friends..and that's it..!! after this there is no chance of dating or even going out..i have to make the sacrifice to keep a friendship with someone i wuld maybe want more..i feel like i have been played by life so badly..and i don't think this is fair..with me or anythin..i have never dated or gone out with someone..and im not complaining because everyone has their time but im scared that mine will never come..

sorry this is not an answer to your question..but i guess you can act normal and bring back ur situation with ur guy to "friendship level" and if he wants more he will make the first move...as for me that never happens but maybe it will happen with u...!!!

Ok, I have been in your same situation, quite a few times actually. And with guys, they jsut need someone to take charge because if you're friends then they only know you that way and so they need help getting to know you as more.. if you get my drift. So like the person above has said, you need to act normal and let them make the first move unless u no exactly how they feel in which case, bite the bullet and ask em out... depends how close you are I guess..
