Yes Crosman makes the model 1077. It is a copy of a Ruger 1022.
See the CROSMAN Link below.
The Crosman 1077 is far superior. For two reasons. It is a true Pellet rifle and has a rifled barrel that makes it more accurate. The Recruit is a BB / Pellet rifle with a smooth boar barrel. The 1077 is modeled after the real Ruger 1022.
As far as I know Crosman has made a 1077 rifle and a 1377 pistol, but never a 1177 model that I know of. However Crosman offers a service to locate repair shops that repair older air rifles. See the link below.
It's a model of a COLT 357. Just like the Crosman 1077 is a copy of a Ruger 1022. Several of Crosman's air guns are modeled after real firearms.
There are several versions of the Crosman 1077. They started in 1995 and the model is still in production. I own 2 of these models and they were designed after the original RUGER 1022 firearm that is also still in production. The 1077 even loads through the bottom of the breech just like the clip on the real Ruger 1022.
If you are asking about the conversion kit to the 88 gram adapter for the 1077, Then unfortunately they are no longer available. You could try contacting Crosman directly and ask them. Go to the "Crosman" home page and at the bottom click on "Contact Us".
