You should definitely download the owner's manual for a Mossberg Model 500 (which is essentially the same gun, mechanically) from the Mossberg website, or the manual for the Maverick Model 88 from the Maverick Arms website. You could also use the "Contact" info on either site to call them and request an original (for free !!). That said, and having opened the action to make sure the chamber is empty, close the action, turn the gun upside-down and look into the front of the loading-port. You will see a round "plug" which is spring-loaded (give it a push with your finger, just to be sure it's moving freely). Insert a cartridge, plastic-end first, and push it in until the base is past the "catch". Repeat as required. The tubular magazine will hold five cartridges, but is usually "blocked" to hold only two, so as to be in compliance with hunting regulations. The owner's manual explains how to easily remove this plug to achieve full capacity. Once the magazine is loaded, you must depress the slide-lock, located at the rear of the triggerguard, and cycle ("pump") the slide, once, to load the chamber. Immediately engage the safety until ready to fire.
Hope this answers your question.

The value of a 12-guage Maverick Shotgun can vary greatly based on the age of the gun, as well as the condition of the gun.
it is not recommended because the 14 gauge wire is not capable of carrying the same amount of load as the 12 gauge wire which could result in a fire.
the 5+1 shot maverick 88 comes standard with a 1/2(half) mod choke which will fire steel, lead, and solids in a non toxic load without known problems, but u should remove and confirm the choke type before shooting any loads other than lead, the 7+1 shot maverick 88 has a cylinder barrel and chokes are not changable, these will accept any load within 3" chamber or less
It depends on the load and other factors but a good measure is: 12 Gauge 28" barrel=151.50dB
Depends on the load.
Maverick - 1957 Trooper Maverick 3-12 was released on: USA: 29 November 1959
The lower gauge number is always a thicker wire which can carry more current.
Depending on the load, a couple of hundred meters is possible
I'll take it for free :)
No one answer, since there are several different types of 12 g shotgun, and they operate differently.
Depends on the load, angle of fire, terrain, weather, etc.. a couple of hundred yards at least.
