I would contact Daisy directly and ask for assistance or an owners Manual
See the link below
The model 288 is a 24 shot BB gun that is loaded from the right side. There is a slide cover directly above the trigger that you slide forward to load the BB's
Are you asking about a gun or a rifle. Which model are you asking about. Daisy had made over a 100 different BB guns and rifles
The model 141 has a shot tube in the barrel. Look at the end of the barrel, you will see that it is gnarled around the edge. Unscrew it from the barrel and pull it out. The shot tube is loaded with BB and screwed back into the barrel. The Daisy model 25 is loaded the same way. See the link below for the owners manual for the model 25 it has the basic same shot tube.
On the back of the pistol you will find a long lever, slide it to one side and load in your BBs. Under the barrel you will find a thumb loader to load each shot into the firing chamber between each shot.
I can not find any information of a Daisy model 653. However Daisy did make a model 693 BB pistol. Is this the pistol you are referring to?
All Daisy model 25's load the same. You unscrew he end of the barrel and pull out the loading tube. It's pretty self evident when you see it.
Your best bet is to ask Daisy directly. Daisy offers a free service to tell you about your old Daisy. See the link below.
Drop the bb right down the barrel. Sometimes it will roll out on you. Other times it seats somehow and stays secure
I suggest you contact Daisy airgun company directly and request an owners manual (See the Daisy customer service link below)
You can't it's a pop toy rifle. Not meant to shoot BB's
The model 102 rifle is loaded by removing the cap on the end of the barrel.
The procedure is the same for all the different versions of the model 25See the link below (Unscrew the very end of the barrel)
