simply kill the fade beast then go to the first enchanter, talk to Jowan, talk to Owen, talk to the senior enchanter and kill the Spiders, get her to sign the papers, go to Jowan , to the basement and kill to you get to the end.
Uhm, Dragon Age Origins, if you play as mage, you can become a blood mage which in the lore is considered evil. Dragon Age II as well.
Two suggested options are a mage's Mana Clash against another mage, or the Rogue's Arrow of Slaying.
Be a elvin mage as an arcane warrior subclassed spiritual healer, or blood mage. I personally prefer Arcane Warrior/spiritual healer, but Blood mage works real well aswell.
You don't "Get" a mage class. It is available at the beginning through any race that can play one.
In the Mage Tower, a Desire Demon has entranced a Templar. Should you choose to fight her, you will have to kill the Templar also, and he has the Templar Armor.
