How do you fix a phone that is turning on and off by itself?

Well I had the same problem as yourself, every time the back got hit it would turn off automaticly, so I decided to switch batteries from my phone, and when I had the second battery in and did a test run on the disturbance of the back, it didn't turn off, so my suggestion is to you check the battery in your phone and flick the backside of it and see if it turns off, and if it does see about getting another battery for sometimes batteries have an attendencyy to die on ya, hope this helps.

This means that your phone's battery is a little loose. You really can't fi this by yourself so you have to go to one of your carrier's store so that they could fix it.

EDIT: Actually, you can. I simply took the back cover off, and slid the tip of a zip-tie into the gap between the opposite edge of the battery from the contacts, and the battery compartment. This should tighten up the connection so that it doesn't accidentally jiggle loose. If you don't feel comfortable doing this, or if it doesn't fix the problem, take it to the store. Better to be safe than sorry.

my friends phone keeps doing that it is either because the battery is loose and keeps getting dislodged or if you keep it in places like your bag then it gets pressed and turns off if it is the first one then get a new battery if it is the second one then you should get a phone case or something hope this helps xx
