To disassemble a Hi-Point .40 Cal JCP model, first ensure the firearm is unloaded. Next, remove the magazine and retract the slide to check that the chamber is clear. Then, locate and push down the takedown pin on the left side of the frame, pull the slide back slightly, and lift it off the frame. Finally, you can remove the recoil spring and barrel for further disassembly or cleaning.

Not very much. Most hi-points are less than $200 new, so used, probably $100.
On the Hi Point Firearms website, there is a section for downloading product manuals, including their .380 pistols. See related link.

First, to the OPs question. A brand new Hi-Point .40 S&W retails anywhere from $150 to $190. And to correct the previous answer, this particular firearm (as are many .40 caliber handguns) is referred to as a .40S&W as it is designed to fire .40 S&W rounds. To break down a Hi-Point 9mm, first ensure the firearm is unloaded. Then, follow the manufacturer's guidelines to disassemble the gun by removing the slide, barrel, and recoil spring. Be sure to clean and lubricate the components before reassembling the firearm.
Iberia is part of Hi-Point now.
It depends on who made it and what condition it is in. If it's a Hi-Point carbine, they are on the lower-end for value and price even though they are known to be reliable. It might be worth $200 U.S. Dollars. But a Beretta or Ruger .40 caliber carbine might be worth $500 or so.
