Facebook is a very popular social-networking website that allows anyone to sign up for their account. Unlike other social-networking sites, Facebook caters to individual networks so that a person can connect with others in his/her college, high school, company, or geographical area. Here's how to create a new Facebook account.

1. Log on to Facebook.

2. Fill out the registration form displayed; all of the fields must be completed in order to continue.

3. Confirm your email by clicking the confirmation link within the email that is automatically sent to the address you provided.

4. Accept some friend requests if people have previously invited you to Facebook.

5. Find some of your friends by providing your password to your email or your AIM username and password. This is completely optional and can be skipped if you feel uncomfortable in giving your password. However, feel free to change your pass after you give it to them.
