How do you chat in dead frontier online?

To type messages to everyone on the server press the 'J' key and begin typing. Press enter to submit your message.

To type messages to your team only press the 'K' key and begin typing. Press enter to submit your message.

To type messages specifically to your squad, press the 'L' key and begin typing. Press enter to submit your message.

To talk into a microphone, you must be in a squad, and hold down the 'V' button while speaking into your microphone.

There are two ways:

1) CB Radio: Click on the radio at the bottom of the page to open up a chat room that appears on another window. This can be used in outpost and inner city.

2) In-game chat: Anytime while playing, just press tab to pop up the chat box, type in the message you want, then press enter to send. Warning you can get attacked while chatting.
