Seamless ring- open with pliers or ring openers
Captive Ball Ring- You probably have one of these. Open slowly with pliers and be ready to catch the ball bc it will fall out
Pliers are fine to open a ring but not to close them. When you open the ring, put the end of your new jewelry on the end of the ring as you push it through to help guide the new jewelry in. Look up the different types of jewelry to figure out what kind you have. There are also tons of YouTube videos to help.
Once the piercing is 6 to 8 weeks old you can change it.

I've never seen that show and I only found one picture of her with an ear piercing and it was pretty small. Is it on the outer edge of her ear about halfway down? If so, that a helix piercing. A helix piercing is any piercing on the outer edge of your ear.
