Just remember that what comes out of your mouth is a reflection of your character so when around your guy friends don't talk like a pig, just be reserved in your imput. Like if a so called "hot" chick walks by and all the guys are hooting and hollerin, realize how immature that is and keep your words to yourself, if another guy asks you what you think of a specific girl, just say something like, I don't know her well enough to comment. I know it may sound corny but many wise men don't speak unless asked and when they are asked use the brains that god and their parents gave them to be a gentlement and reserved. Now if a gal asks you on how another chick looks, same as above. If a gal asks how she looks be honest but soft. If she is a little heavy and she asks how to I look comment that you look great in that color and I think your perfume smells nice. It is a loaded question when a gal asks you because they are looking for a compliment not an opinion so tread carefully. If the girl is hot and she knows it then she isn't fishing for a compliment she is just being vain.
In Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol", Ebenezer Scrooge accuses the Ghost of Christmas Present of forcing businesses to close in his name every seventh day and deprive them of eating and doing business. In other words, businesses and the making of money continues to be front and center in his mind, although he is already a very wealthy man.
The classes were clearly portrayed. Fred represented those that were upper middle class and felt that Christmas was a time to to atleast do something to help. This was suppported by the Portly Gentlement who asked Scrooge for a donation. The poor were represented by Bob Cratchit. These were peope who had little but tried to keep their lives going no matter how difficult work was or how awful the employers treatment . The Children beneath the robes of The Ghost of Christmas served to tell us of the reason for the deptivation - Scrooge was a figure who represented those that had money and were determined to keep that money no matter who suffered as a consequence. This was a wide portrayal of the mine owners and factory owners of the time that used child labour, hired and fire people at will, took no care over their employees or what could happen to them and didnt care if they lived or died as there was always someone else to employ
Scrooge makes the last spirit an oath that he will change and in doing so keep Christmas in his heart forevermore. Being allowed to live on he makes every effort to help others, takes Bob Cratchits family under his wing and pays for Tiny Tims medical treatment as he takes the role of a surrogate uncle.

Britain hired German "Hessian" mercenaries to fight US colonists during the Revolutionary (1776-1783). Other wise the British thought themselves fully capable of defeating it's rebellious colonials in what they considered the "savage Americas." Great Britain actually did consider North America to be a densely forested (or jungled) continent inhabited by savages. Which is why they also banished many of their "unwanted" citizens to North America instead of "jailing them" which costed money. When the standing Regular British Army went up against the American Colonists on the battlefield, the British considered and complained that the Americans fought "unfairly with guerrilla tactics" and not as civilized "gentlement." Which is most likely why many students today, considering that whole above paragraph, are always asking the same question about the Vietnam War: "How is the Revolutionary War similar to the Vietnam War?" Well the French war (1946-1954) might be comparable, but not the American war (1955-1975). In the French War, the Viet Minh, like the American colonists were fighting against their ruler (France and Britain respectively). But in the "American" Viet War, it was closer to the US Civil War (War of Rebellion as it is officially called in the archives/or war between the states). North against South, Draft, Draft Riots, Northern victory, Southern defeat, both wars had a "Brown Water Navy" (Riverine Warfare), and both were long and bloody. In addition the American Viet War & US Civil War were both fought in the 60s and both wars had a US President shot in the head (assassinated). Both wars also had a US Vice President named JOHNSON assume the presidential office.
Following his experience with the final Ghost Scrooge awakes in his own bed and realises that he is still alive. He declares that the ghost have done everything in one night. he opens the window and asks a passing boy what day it is. Now knowing its Chritmas day he tells the Boy to go to the poulterers and purchase teh prize turkey that hangs outside and instructs the pouterer to deliver the bird to Bob Cratchit in Camden Town. This is done Scrooge walks the London streets taking in the atmosphere of the day and upon seeing the Portly Gentlement who were seeking a donation for the poor Scrooge whispers and unknow amount to one and adds that there is interest added for the years he has failed to donate. From here he goes to Fred, his nephews home. Here he seeks forgiveness for his past actions and asks if the invertation to dine is still open to him. Fred and His wife forgive Scrooge and welcome him in. We see thereafter Scrooge helping the Cratchit family. Firstly by raising Bobs wages and by his helping to care for Tiny Imm to ensure the boys health improves. In the final papragraph we learn that Scrooge is better than his word and that he does indeed keep Chritmas in his heart for ever after
