The Klausjagen- lit. Claus Hunt) is a Swiss custom popular in Zurich and I guess other Swiss towns. It involves a procession or parade of outsized hats, some toted by several porters. The Klausjagen may include fireworks and gunplay with blanks. It celebrates Saint Nicholaus, but has nothing to do with Christmas! it is performed in or around the night of December 6, and in the course of the parade- has nothing to do with Christmas- n o Ho Ho Ho!
