Revenge never solves or 'fixes' anything. It only creates more hard feelings, and causes a continual revenge cycle. The best thing to do is to move on and try to leave it in the past. I know this may sound like a pat answer, but believe me, one day you will be glad you did just let it go.

Also, usually the one seeking revenge is the one who ends up being hurt the most by the revenge. You also have to realize that you have a lot of years ahead of you and there will be a lot more times that someone hurts you. So it's much better now to learn how to deal with hurt than to have to learn the hard way when you're older.

Although there is a tip about revenge that I've heard all my life, which is really good. It's "The best revenge is living well". So live your life well, be happy and don't dwell on the painful past.

Revenge is not a healthy or productive way to address relationship issues. It is important to communicate openly and honestly with your partner about how you are feeling and work together to find a resolution that benefits both parties. Seeking revenge can result in further hurt and damage to the relationship.
