Pain varies from person to person. Healing can be very difficult. Cheek piercings take an extremely long time to heal completely if they even heal. They usually leave significant scarring and they flare up a lot. They often have quite a bit of hypertrophic scarring that isn't very attractive. I'm not trying to dissuade you, just to make you aware of what you may be getting into. They're very beautiful piercings and I wish you luck with them.
