Half a birth control pill twice a day instead of the usual whole pill?

I wouldn't recommend it. It wouldn't make sense at all when you can just take the whole pill at once. You're supposed to take the whole thing the same time everyday, so breaking it up twice a day would probably mess up the effectiveness of the pill.
